How I Record Gameplay & Make Tutorials

Since I get a lot of questions on how I capture gameplay footage & record my desktop, Google Chrome, etc. for tutorials, I thought I'd make a video dedicated to this topic. Everything mentioned is listed in the description of the video, along with other links to different software you could use to record. ♦ Updated Some Thumbnails

I've been meaning to update my thumbnails ever since I changed the style for Island Paradise, so I finally sat down & did it. Just your typical sims with the same thumbnail backgrounds I had before (the towns they're in). I only changed the ones I could get the sims for, so Lucky Palms, Showtime, & Pets weren't able to be changed. I had to use a "green screen" backdrop for them, different colors for each so I could blend it into the background better, but I think they turned out great. ♦ TS3 Pregnant Loop Glitch: Fixed

As some of you know, I ran into thee strangest glitch where my sim gives birth nonstop (view it here at 8:30). Luckily I've found a solution after a few hours of trying out different methods. It ended up being super simple :)

Step 1: Exit the game, either manually or in between births. You will lose any progress you didn't save.
Step 2: This might be optional, but I did it: Clear all of your caches & the delete everything in the DCBackup folder.
Step 3: Load the game & open the save with the glitch.
Step 4: Go into Edit Town & change your Active Family to another random one.
Step 5: Wait until the pregnant sim has finished giving birth & finally has the baby.
Step 6: Go into Edit Town once more & change the Active Family back to the original one, then start playing.
Step 7: Change the child's name (City Hall) & traits (testingcheatsenabled true) if you'd like, & enjoy! :D

♦ The Sims 3 errors, issues, etc.

Some of you have been asking me about your PC &/or laptop's issues or TS3 game play problems, I sincerely apologize, but I am not an expert. Unfortunately, I don't know much else besides what I read on Google, or find on their forums. I usually only play the game & fix the problems I encounter on my own, but here is how I always get an answer when I need one:

• First things first, Google search your error code or problems, leaving out small words like "the, and, it.." etc. Go through at least the first 10 links before ditching that method & moving on.
• If that doesn't work, your best bet is to search on their forums here, or more specifically here. If you don't find your answer, start your own thread, questions get answered pretty quickly.
• Contacting EA will also help, but the forums are thee fastest way, & there are a lot of people there to answer all of your questions.
• You should also check the game requirements with your PC's or laptop's specs here. The game is a little demanding, & sometimes it doesn't work properly (if at all) on older systems.

Again, I am very sorry I'm not much help in this area. I do hope this post has made it a lot easier in your search to fix your game! Also, I get all my computer info from my grandpa, so I'm not computer savvy either. I know...I'm a terrible "gamer" haha.
